Acceptance notifications for abstracts submitted to the 2020 SID Annual Meeting were sent to all Contact authors today (2/12/2020). The Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) Board of Directors voted to discontinue the annual Albert M. Kligman/Phillip Frost Leadership Lecture and Award during its recent Board meeting held October 18, 2019.
Membership concerns regarding Dr. Kligman’s past clinical research practices were made known to the Board, in which after careful deliberation, voted to discontinue the Kligman/Frost lecture and to re-name the travel fellowships previously in Dr. Kligman’s name.
